The Jet Sweep® Pool Vacuum Cleaner by BettaBot is a high-performance, cordless cleaning solution designed to keep your pool water crystal clear without the hassle of tangled hoses or bulky equipment. Engineered for efficiency, this rechargeable powerhouse delivers up to 75 minutes of continuous suction on a single charge, making it ideal for everything from quick spot-cleans to deep-floor maintenance.
Equipped with a dual-filtration system, the Jet Sweep includes both a Standard (250µm) bag for larger leaves and debris, and an Intensive (75µm) bag to capture fine silt and sand. Its intelligent design features a smart water sensor that automatically activates the motor within three seconds of submersion, ensuring power is only used when the unit is fully underwater.
Important Safety Instructions
Intended Use
This cleaner is for underwater use only. It is not a toy and must be operated by adults.

Maintenance Safety
Ensure the power is OFF and the charger is disconnected before cleaning the filter bag or performing maintenance.

Using Betta Jet Sweep
Place the unit on a flat surface and ensure the power knob is in the OFF position. Carefully open the charging cover with your fingers to expose the charging port and charging pins.
Connect the charger to the power source. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours. The indicator light flashes red when the battery is low and needs to be recharged. When the cleaner is charging, the indicator light is solid blue, and turns solid green when fully charged.

Flashing Red: Low battery / Needs recharging

Solid Green: Fully charged
Immediately disconnect the charger from the power source if you detect any of the following:
- Offensive or unusual odor
- Excessive heat
- Deformation, cracks, leaks
- Smoke
When charging is complete, disconnect the charger with cord from the power source. The cleaner is designed to run for 90 minutes with a full charge.
NOTE:Empty the filter bag regularly. Excessive debris increases the load on the motor and may reduce operating time.
NOTE:The rechargeable lithium-ion battery capacity will gradually decrease after repeated charging and discharging, resulting in shorter operating times over the product’s life.
NOTE: Allow the pool vacuum to rest for approximately 30–40 minutes before recharging.
FILTER BAG ASSEMBLY:
Press the filter bag down onto the main body, aligning the groove on the plastic ring with the protruding strip on the main body. Then turn it clockwise until it clicks into place.
WHEELS ASSEMBLY:
Press the four wheels down to the bottom of the main body and confirm they are securely fixed.
POLE ASSEMBLY:
Attach the handle and pole.
Pool Preparation
- If the pool liner is brittle, damaged, or wrinkled, contact a qualified professional for repairs or replacement before using the pool vacuum.
- If you are using a saltwater pool, ensure all salt is fully dissolved before placing the pool vacuum into the water.
OPERATION:
Place the cleaner beside the pool and turn the switch clockwise to the ON position until you hear a click. The top indicator light will flash green.
Once you immerse the cleaner in the water, the indicator light will turn solid green, and the cleaner will begin operating within 3 seconds.

Troubleshoot
To effectively collect debris, ensure the vacuum is laid flat on the pool floor. Move the unit in a steady back-and-forth motion over debris patches. The vacuum is designed to collect dirt from the front, sides, and back to maximize filter bag capacity.
If the impeller becomes clogged with excess dirt, it will automatically stop to protect the motor, and the indicator light will turn red.
- To Clean: Remove the vacuum from the pool and turn it off. Unclog the impeller and empty the filter bag.
- To Restart: Turn the switching knob counterclockwise to Power Off, then turn it clockwise back to Power On.
To retrieve the pool vacuum, bring it poolside and flip it upside down before lifting. This is done to prevent debris from scattering back into the pool (especially if you are using the fine filter bag) and avoid bending the pole in the process.
